Mmmm... Balance, trust, struggle and the rollercoaster.

Things to make you go Mmmm…

"To encourage creativity by sharing more inspiration than any electronic artist.”

Three thoughts for your creativity and one on mine.

3 for you:

A balance of extremes.

"Spend a handful of hours a day going fast. Crush a gym session. Do deep work on a project you care about. Spend the rest of the day going slow. Take walks. Read books. Get a long dinner with friends. Either way, avoid the anxious middle where you never truly relax or truly move forward." - Charles Milleron

Trust the process even if it’s boring.

“Process is an ugly-sounding word - pedestrian jargon for the inherently wondrous act of creation - but it describes a method by which a thing evolves, which has always had a hold on me.” - Adam Moss

A tale as old as the hills.

“Anyone moderately familiar with the rigours of composition will not need to be told the story in detail; how he wrote and it seemed good; read and it seemed vile; corrected and tore up; cut out; put in; was in ecstasy; in despair; had his good nights and bad mornings; snatched at ideas and lost them; saw his book plain before him and it vanished; acted his people’s parts as he ate; mouthed them as he walked; now cried; now laughed; vacillated between this style and that; now preferred the heroic and pompous; next the plain and simple; now the vales of Tempe; then the fields of Kent or Cornwall; and could not decide whether he was the divinest genius or the greatest fool in the world.” - Virginia Woolf

1 from me

The Creative Rollercoaster.

“Creativity is rarely a straight path. One moment, your work feels brilliant - the next, completely worthless. You’ll write, erase, rewrite, and question every choice. That’s not failure; it’s the creative process.

Doubt and delight often travel together. The key is to keep going. Ride the highs, endure the lows, and remember - even the greatest creators felt like both geniuses and fools.

Trust the process. The messy middle is where the magic happens.”
