MMMM: Simplicity, becoming valuable, superior performance and which way is the beach?

Things to make you go MMMM on Thursday

by Darien J

"To inspire and encourage electronic artists to make, manage and market music every day."

Three thoughts on making, managing and marketing your music and one on mine.

3 for you:

Joey Cafone in his book The Laws of Creativity: Unlock Your Originality and Awaken Your Creative Genius explains the Law of Simplicity:

“While counterintuitive, the more options you have, the less likely you are to make progress. Keep your parameters tight, your path narrow—and you will find that innovative thinking appears faster and more reliably.”

Tony Robbins on becoming more valuable:

“How do you truly become more valuable? Learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job.”

A contrarian view from Sir John Templeton (with which I wholeheatedly agree):

"It is impossible to produce superior performance unless you do something different from the majority.”

1 from me

Next Friday 7th July I join the Berlin-Brighton crew for the launch of their summer sessions at The Tempest on Brighton’s seafront. Berlin Beach Kollektiv - Summer Opening with Prismode & Solvane bring their notorious underground club vibes out into the sunshine and deep into the night under the starlit sky. You couldn’t get a more Ibiza-like vibe without jumping on a plane.

Until next week
