MMMM: Mistakes, how to be great, making change and empathy.
Things to make you go MMMM on Thursday

"To inspire and encourage electronic artists to Make, Manage and Market Music every day."
Three thoughts for your music and one on mine.
3 for you:
We need to make mistakes to progress.
"Do not be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better. What if they are a little coarse, and you may get your coat soiled or torn? What if you do fail, and get fairly rolled in the dirt once or twice. Up again, you shall never be so afraid of a tumble." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Be great.
“Your love for what you do and willingness to push yourself where others aren't prepared to go is what will make you great.” - Laurence Shahlaei
Sometimes we need to go against the grain.
“For most of us, though, changing our behavior is driven by our desire to fit in (people like us do things like this) and our perception of our status (affiliation and dominance). Since both these forces often push us to stay as we are, it takes tension to change them.” - Seth Godin
1 from me
Life has got in the way a bit this week so I’m just going to leave you with this thought on the importance of empathy.
“Opinion is the lowest form of human knowledge. It requires no accountability, no understanding. The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another’s world. It requires profound purpose larger than the self." - Anon
Until next week
